A guide to ebXML collaborative framework

The course explains what is the Electronic Business eXtensible Markup Language. The course describes the basic characteristics and components of the collaborative framework.
- It is a project started in 1999 held by Oasis, no-profit international consortium for standardization, and UN/CEFACT, United Nations Center for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business
- Its goal is to produce an open and all-comprehensive framework, based on XML, aimed at helping enterprises to make business through electronic transactions
- The ebXML framework is composed by various and specific modules: Core Components, Message Service Specification (ebMS), Business Process Specification Schema (ebBP or BPSS), Registry Information Model e Registry Services Specification, Collaboration Protocol Profile and Agreement (CPP/CPA)
- ebXML identifies four leading phases: business content definition; business profiles edition ( each enterprise define his profile ); business agreements signature, operative phase for the information exchange.

A chi è rivolto:
This learning course is aimed to give a basic knowledge of ebXML to all people in relation with networks of enterprises, in particular SME. The course has the goal to show the advantages of this approach to professionals who have to manage commercial communications between enterprises.
