Energy supply: micro and distributed generation (part II of II)
the aim of the lesson is to provide an understanding of power generation technologies and to show how waste heat from electric generation process can be used for: - heating and/or cooling to increase systems integral energy efficiency, to reduce operating costs and the need for new electric utility construction, as well as to reduce the load on electric transmission systems.
Part II: Its aim is to provide an understanding of how social, political, economical, geographycal and climatic conditions as well as regional resources, living style, science and awarness on environmental issues influence CHP, micro and distributed generation and trigeneration technologies development
