HTF and HTM in CSP plants: definition and examples
In this lesson thermal fluids employed in the Csp plants are described. It is explained the difference between the use of diathermic oils and mixtures of molten salts, their chemical and physical characteristics studied in Enea laboratories and the importance of the use of the same material both as heat transport fluid that as heat storage.
