The Global Energy Framework- Impact of the Oil Shocks: Transmission Channels and Models for Impact Evaluation
The presentation will follow the above shown outline. First of all, the different kinds of oil shocks will be considered. Then the channels troughout the shocks propagate in the economic system will be analysed together to the models used for impact evaluation. In this regard particular reference will be made to the Oxford Energy Model OXEMOD. Finally it will consider the possible policy interventions both on demand and supply side, and the main EU directives concerning energy policy.

Obiettivo formativo: In this course on �Energy and Sustainable Development�, organised by UNESCO and ENEA, the subjects of the lesson are the transmission channels of oil shocks in the economic system and models of impact evaluation.
