ISO15926-7 Implementation methods for the integration of distributed systems

A goal of the Process Industries is to integrate the lifecycle information of its facilities, for reasons of knowledge gathering. This entails setting up, in parallel with the Supply Chain, an Information Chain.
In order to achieve this, Part 7 of ISO 15926 has been designed to combine the rigueur of the ISO 15926-2 data model and the richness of ISO 15926-4 reference data with the power of the Semantic Web.
This is reflected in the set-up of this Awareness course. In order to be able to understand ISO15926-7, introductions are included to the ISO 15926-2 data model and the ISO 15926-4 reference data, OWL and RDF all from the perspective of being a solid foundation for the Semantic Web-based implementation methodology of ISO 15926-7.
